The Up and Under is a cool pub located in the very small downtown of Point Richmond, CA. It is a clean place with rugby décor. The staff is friendly and casual. There is indoor and outdoor seating and we were able to seat our party of 8 without any issues. We visited there around 11:00 am and had the place to ourselves. They gave us both the lunch and breakfast menu and we happily chose items from both. The food looked great and I only heard complements from my companions.
The beer selection is generous and they seemed to have a wide variety of booze. There is ample parking out front. Google the bar name and there are many photos on line, a great place to stop!
Don’t expect to do much more in this sleepy little town. If you go through the tunnel on Dornan Dr., there is a beach on the bay and a very nice park. There is also a model railroad museum, but I have not been in it so I can’t review it. There is a marina a bit further down the road, there are a lot of industrial cargo boat that come through this port.
Nearby is the Rosy the Riveter Museum, I haven’t been there but heard it is pretty cool to visit. I have included a link to the website: https://www.nps.gov/rori/index.htm.
This is an awesome pub in a friendly little town. Take the time to stop by and enjoy a cocktail and killer wings.
